Safqi العربية

Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Effective from 2026-08-01

These terms govern your use of the Safqi platform as a merchant or store owner. Please read them carefully — by creating an account or using the platform you agree to them in full.

The Arabic text of these terms is the authoritative version. This English translation is provided for convenience; in case of conflict, the Arabic prevails.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the platform you confirm that you are 18 or older, have legal capacity to contract, and are authorised to represent the entity you register on behalf of. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the platform.

3. Account and subdomain

3.1 Account creation

You must provide accurate, complete information at registration and keep it up to date. You alone are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account, including the actions of staff you grant access to.

3.2 Subdomain

Your store is assigned a subdomain in the form your-store.safqi.com. The subdomain:

We may reclaim any subdomain used misleadingly, in breach of third-party rights, or in violation of these terms.

3.3 Custom domain

Connecting your own domain (yourstore.com) is available on the Max plan only. Registering and renewing that domain, and its costs, are your responsibility, not ours.

3.4 Users and permissions

The number of permitted users is set by your plan. A single user account may not be shared between multiple people to circumvent that limit.

4. Plans and pricing

All prices are in Iraqi Dinars (IQD) and include only what is set out below:

Free Pro Max

Yearly 390,000 690,000

4.1 Annual subscription

An annual subscription costs the equivalent of ten months — two months free compared with paying monthly.

4.2 Monthly order limit

The order limit is counted per calendar month (first to last day of the month), not per billing cycle, and resets automatically at the start of each month. Unused orders do not carry over.

Once the limit is reached, new orders stop being created in your store — from the storefront, the admin panel and the point of sale alike — until the next month begins or you upgrade. We alert you at 80% of the limit and again when it is exhausted. To protect your store's reputation, the buyer is never shown anything about your subscription status; they see a neutral message inviting them to contact the store.

4.3 Price changes

We may change prices or plan contents on at least 30 days' notice. A change does not affect a period already paid for and applies from the next renewal. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

4.4 Limits and features

The features available on each plan are those set out in the table above and on the pricing page at the time of purchase. We make no commitment regarding any feature not expressly stated, and we may develop, modify or retire features on reasonable notice.

5. Trial period

There is no trial period on ordinary sign-up. Every new account starts on the Free plan with no time limit, and you may upgrade at any time.

The only two exceptions:

  1. Sign-up via a referral invitation: you receive a 30-day trial of the paid plan.
  2. Administrative grant: platform administration may exceptionally grant or extend a trial.

Paying for your first subscription ends any trial immediately; remaining trial days are not added on top of the paid period.

6. Payment and billing

6.1 Payment in advance

All subscriptions are paid in advance. A paid plan is activated only once payment is confirmed.

6.2 Payment methods

6.3 No card storage

The platform does not store your bank card details. Every payment is made at the gateway directly; we receive only the result of the transaction and its reference.

6.4 Taxes and fees

Displayed prices exclude any taxes or government charges that may apply. Any fee your bank or wallet provider charges on a payment is borne by you.

7. Upgrade, downgrade and cancellation

7.1 Upgrade

Takes effect immediately. You are credited for the unused portion of your current period, calculated on a straight-line time basis against the plan's list price, and that credit is applied to the new plan. If the credit covers the new plan in full, it is activated with nothing to pay.

No proration credit is calculated where the plan was granted free of charge by administration, or where the two periods are in different currencies.

7.2 Downgrade

Nothing is charged today. The downgrade is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep the full benefits of your plan until then.

Automatic debit authorisation: by scheduling a downgrade to a paid plan, you expressly authorise us to debit the new plan's price from your wallet when the change date arrives, without seeking fresh approval. If the balance is insufficient, the plan changes and the period is left to expire without renewal. You may cancel a scheduled downgrade at any time before its date.

7.3 Switching between monthly and yearly

Switching billing cycles on the same plan is treated as a renewal: the new period is added to the end of the paid period, with no proration credit.

7.4 Cancellation

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, not immediately. You keep your plan and all its benefits until that date, after which the subscription becomes cancelled. You may reverse a cancellation while the paid period is still running.

Amounts paid for a period in progress are not refunded on cancellation. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Subscription expiry

9. Wallet

The wallet is a non-cash internal balance used solely to pay for platform services.

9.1 Sources of balance

Top-up via online payment gateways, the monthly credit included with your plan, referral rewards, and administrative adjustments.

9.2 What it can be spent on

Subscriptions, paid apps, AI usage, and WhatsApp messages.

9.3 Top-up limits

Minimum per top-up 1,000, maximum 100,000,000. Top-up is available through online payment gateways only — a wallet cannot be funded by manual transfer, because that requires human review and produces no automatic result.

9.4 Nature of the balance

Wallet balance is not redeemable for cash, not withdrawable, not transferable to a bank account or to another merchant, and does not constitute a deposit or an electronic payment instrument. It does not expire while your account exists. On closure or termination of the account, any remaining balance lapses without compensation.

9.5 Monthly plan credit

Granted monthly for as long as the paid subscription runs. It is not granted as a single up-front sum, even on an annual subscription. It has no cash value and is not granted during a trial.

10. Referral programme

Every merchant has a referral code. The reward — 5,000 IQD — is paid to the code owner only (one-sided), once per referred merchant, when that merchant completes their first paid subscription.

Anyone creating fake accounts, referring themselves, or using misleading means forfeits the reward. We may withdraw any reward granted in that way and deactivate the accounts involved.

11. Metered services

Some services are billed on actual usage and debited from your wallet in real time.

11.1 Artificial intelligence

11.2 WhatsApp messages

11.3 Pricing changes

We may change metered-service pricing on prior notice. Changes apply to subsequent usage only.

12. Store payments and settlement

This is one of the most important clauses of this agreement. Please read it carefully.

12.1 Our capacity

When a buyer pays online in your store (bank card or e-wallet), the transaction is processed through the platform's own accounts with the payment gateways, not an account in your name. We therefore receive the funds as a collection agent on your behalf.

Collected amounts belong to you and are held for your account until settlement. The sale is a contract between you and the buyer; we are not a party to it.

12.2 Settlement

12.3 Cost of transferring funds to you

The cost of transferring funds to your account is borne by you, not by us. Any fee charged by the bank or e-wallet on the transfer is deducted from the amount transferred, so you may receive slightly less than the amount you requested.

Example: if you request a withdrawal of 5,000,000 IQD and the transfer costs 500 IQD, your balance is debited 5,000,000 and 4,999,500 reaches your account.

Each payout record shows the requested amount, the actual transfer cost, and the amount you received. This cost varies by method (ZainCash, Super Qi, bank transfer) and by the provider's own tariff, and is outside our control.

12.4 Cash on delivery

Cash-on-delivery amounts never pass through us — they are collected by the courier or shipping company and remitted to you under your agreement with them. We bear no responsibility for them.

12.5 Refunds and disputes

12.6 Withholding and suspension

We may withhold remittance in whole or in part, or suspend it, in any of the following cases: reasonable suspicion of fraud or money laundering; an unusual rise in dispute or refund rates; breach of the Acceptable Use Policy; a request from a competent authority or from the payment gateway; or doubt as to the accuracy of your account details. We will notify you of the withholding and its reason unless prevented by law.

12.7 Your responsibility for sales

You are the seller vis-à-vis the buyer and bear sole responsibility for: the accuracy of prices and specifications, stock availability, fulfilling and delivering the order, invoices and taxes due on your sales, and after-sales service.

13. Your obligations

You undertake to:

14. Intellectual property

14.1 Your content

Your store's content — your brand, products, images, text and customer data — belongs to you. You grant us a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, for the sole purpose of operating the service, to host, store, back up, reproduce, display, process and deliver it. That licence ends when the content is deleted or the account terminated, save for backups until their cycle expires.

14.2 The platform

The platform, its software, interfaces, designs and trade marks belong to us or our licensors. This agreement grants you only a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right of use for the duration of your subscription. Copying, modifying, reverse-engineering, reselling, leasing or creating derivative works from the platform is prohibited.

14.3 Watermark

A reference to Safqi may appear in your store on plans that do not include its removal.

15. Apps and themes

16. Service level and support

We use reasonable care to keep the platform available around the clock, without warranting uninterrupted operation. Service may be interrupted for scheduled or emergency maintenance, or for reasons beyond our control (loss of connectivity or power, failures at hosting providers or payment gateways, force majeure).

Technical support is available through the published channels. Priority support is available on the Max plan only.

17. Suspension and termination

17.1 Termination by you

You may cancel your subscription at any time under clause 7.4, or request permanent closure of your account through support.

17.2 Suspension by us

We may suspend or terminate your account or store, in whole or in part, and without prior notice where necessary, in the following cases:

For a remediable breach we will notify you and allow a reasonable cure period before suspension, unless the breach is serious or presents an imminent risk.

17.3 Effect of termination

Your right to use the platform ends immediately, any wallet balance lapses, and amounts paid are not refunded. We allow a reasonable window to request a copy of your data, unless termination was due to unlawful activity. After that window we may delete the data in line with the retention policy in the Privacy Policy.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim any express or implied warranty as to fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from error or interruption, the accuracy of any analytics data or AI output, or your achieving any level of sales or profit.

19. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

Nothing in this clause excludes liability that Iraqi law does not permit to be excluded, such as for fraud, deceit or personal injury.

20. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and defend us against any claim, action or penalty arising from: your breach of these terms or of the law, your content, your goods and services, your dispute with a buyer, or your handling of your customers' data.

21. Confidentiality

Each party undertakes to keep confidential any non-public information it receives about the other, and not to disclose it except as needed to deliver the service or as required by law.

22. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. We publish the updated version on this page with its version number and effective date, and notify you of material changes a reasonable time before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, your remedy is to terminate under clause 17.1.

23. Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, on notice to you.

24. General

25. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Iraq. محاكم بغداد / الرصافة shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, after an attempt at amicable settlement within 30 days of written notice.
